Hi, I’m Padma Christie — an English teacher with a degree in English Education and years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students (國小、國中) in Taiwan. I specialize in creating engaging, confidence-building lessons that use games, group collaboration, and real-world communication to help students thrive. I’m available for both in-person and online teaching roles, and I’m fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Malay — allowing me to connect with students across languages and learning styles.

Outside the classroom, I’m an experienced and trusted dog sitter with a strong background in in-home care and walking services. I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and temperaments, offering companionship, consistency, and a calm, attentive presence. I bring the same patience and responsibility to pet care that I do in the classroom, and I take pride in building lasting, trust-based relationships through clear communication.

With formal training in music education, I play violin, guitar, and sing across classical, folk, and contemporary styles. My love for music and nature influences how I teach and care—bringing creativity, focus, and emotional connection into every space. Whether guiding a classroom or caring for a dog, I believe compassion and consistency create space for growth. I am currently looking for opportunities in southern Taiwan where I can either teach English or provide loving care for dogs.
